I am concerned with the process of documentation through drawing. In my work there is a sense of trying to preserve an experience or memory using various methods such as animated film, drawing, and book works. Sometimes these documentations of experiences and memories result in minor narratives. These narratives unfold in a loose drawing style inspired by children’s drawings. I include myself (the artist) in the work, diffusing a sense of intimacy while tending to dissuade a voyeuristic approach.
